REFUND & CANCELLATION POLICY

At Just Ask Jin, we want every booking to go smoothly. Because many of our services involve upfront PayPal payments and real costs incurred on your behalf — such as food orders placed, tickets purchased, or travel made — our refund policy reflects the nature of each service. Please read this carefully before making a payment.

2. FOOD DELIVERY CONCIERGE
Before order is placedFull refund available if you cancel before Jin places your order on Baemin or Coupang Eats.
After order is placedNo refund. Once an order has been submitted to the delivery platform it cannot be cancelled or reversed.
Wrong item deliveredIf the restaurant delivers the wrong item, contact us immediately. We will attempt to resolve the issue with the restaurant. Refunds in this case are at our discretion and subject to what the restaurant agrees to.
Delivery not arrivedIf your order is confirmed but never arrives, contact us and we will investigate with the platform. A full refund will be issued if the delivery failure is confirmed.
Service hoursOrders placed outside 5:30 PM – 10:30 PM KST will not be processed. If payment is taken in error outside service hours, a full refund will be issued.
3. SOFT LANDING — AIRPORT ARRIVAL SUPPORT
48+ hours before arrivalFull refund. No questions asked.
Under 48 hours before arrivalNo refund. Jin has already reserved time and arranged travel to the airport on your behalf.
Flight delayed or changedIf your flight is delayed or changed and you notify Jin as soon as possible, we will do our best to accommodate the new arrival time at no extra charge. If the delay makes the service impossible on that day, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule.
If Jin has to cancelIf Jin must cancel due to illness, family emergency, or circumstances outside his control, you will receive a full refund and the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
4. SETTLE IN — EXPAT ADMIN ASSISTANCE
48+ hours before sessionFull refund of the invoice paid.
Under 48 hours before sessionNo refund. Jin has already prepared for your session and reserved the time.
Session startedNo refund once a session has begun. You will be charged for the full duration agreed upon at booking.
If Jin has to cancelFull refund issued immediately, plus the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
5. VIP BOOKING — CONCERTS, CLINICS, TEMPLE STAYS
Before booking is madeFull refund of all amounts paid if you cancel before Jin has made the booking on your behalf.
After booking is confirmedNo refund. Once Jin has purchased a ticket or confirmed a reservation using a Korean ID or credit card, the booking cannot be reversed and the cost cannot be recovered.
Event cancelled by organiserIf the event, concert, or reservation is cancelled by the third-party organiser, the ticket or reservation cost will be refunded to you in full. Jin’s service fee ($15–$20) is non-refundable as the booking work was completed.
If Jin has to cancelIf Jin is unable to make the booking after payment has been received, a full refund of all amounts paid will be issued.
6. CONCIERGE PASS — $40 FOR 10 TASKS
Once purchasedThe Concierge Pass is non-refundable once payment has been made, regardless of how many tasks have been used. By purchasing the pass you are pre-committing to the bundle.
Unused tasksUnused tasks are non-refundable. The pass is valid for your entire stay in Korea with no expiry date, so unused tasks can be carried forward to a future visit.
If Jin is unable to deliverIf Just Ask Jin ceases operations or Jin is permanently unable to deliver the service, a pro-rata refund of unused tasks will be issued.
7. QUICK FIX — $5 PER TASK
Task completedNo refund once the task has been completed. Given the low cost and immediate nature of Quick Fix tasks, all sales are final once delivery is confirmed.
Task not completedIf Jin is unable to complete the task you requested, a full $5 refund will be issued.
8. HOW TO REQUEST A REFUND
To request a refund, contact Jin directly via the messaging app you used to book (WhatsApp, LINE, or KakaoTalk), or email us at jin@justaskjin.com. Please include:
- Your full name
- The service you booked
- Your booking date
- The reason for your refund request
Eligible refunds will be returned to your original PayPal account within 5 business days of approval. PayPal transaction fees are non-recoverable and will be deducted from any refund where applicable.
9. CHARGEBACKS AND DISPUTES
We ask that you contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or PayPal dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally. Initiating a chargeback without first contacting us may result in suspension of your access to Just Ask Jin services.
If a chargeback is initiated for a service that was properly delivered in accordance with this policy, we reserve the right to provide PayPal with evidence of service delivery and dispute the claim.
