AGREEMENT TO OUR LEGAL TERMS

We are Just Ask Jin (“Company,” “we,” “us,” “our”), a local concierge service operating at http://www.justaskjin.liveinkojpau.com and http://www.liveinkojpau.com.

These Legal Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”) and Just Ask Jin, concerning your access to and use of the Services — including our food delivery concierge, airport arrival support, expat admin assistance, VIP booking service, and related services.

By accessing or using the Services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Legal Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Services immediately.

We reserve the right to update these Legal Terms at any time by changing the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

Users who are minors (generally under the age of 18) must have the permission of and be supervised by a parent or guardian to use the Services.

1. OUR SERVICES

Just Ask Jin provides local concierge and support services for English-speaking and Japanese-speaking expats, tourists, and travellers in South Korea. Our services include:

• Food Delivery Concierge — placing food delivery orders on your behalf via Korean apps such as Baemin and Coupang Eats.
• Soft Landing (Airport Arrival Support) — personal meet and guide service at Incheon or Gimpo Airport.
• Settle In — remote and in-person assistance with expat administrative tasks including housing contract translation, bank account setup, and ARC process guidance.
• VIP Booking — booking services requiring Korean identity verification or a Korean credit card, including concerts, clinics, and Temple Stay reservations.
• Concierge Pass and Quick Fix — pre-paid task bundles and one-off small tasks.

Our services are available to anyone located in or travelling to South Korea. In-person services are limited to Seoul and Gyeonggi-do. Remote services are available anywhere in South Korea.

The Services are not intended for use in any jurisdiction where such use would be contrary to law or regulation. Those who access the Services from outside South Korea are responsible for compliance with their local laws.

2. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

We are the owner or licensee of all intellectual property rights in our Services, including all website content, text, photographs, graphics, logos, and service descriptions (collectively, the “Content”), as well as any trademarks or service marks (the “Marks”). Our Content and Marks are protected under applicable copyright and trademark laws in South Korea and internationally.

Subject to your compliance with these Legal Terms, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access the Services and view or print any portion of the Content solely for your personal, non-commercial use. No part of the Services, Content, or Marks may be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, transmitted, distributed, sold, or exploited for any commercial purpose without our express prior written permission.

To request permission, contact us at jin@justaskjin.liveinkojpau.com. Any breach of these intellectual property rights will constitute a material breach of these Legal Terms and your right to use the Services will terminate immediately.

Your submissions

By sending us any feedback, suggestions, or other information about the Services, you agree to assign to us all intellectual property rights in such submissions. We may use submissions for any lawful purpose without acknowledgment or compensation to you. You confirm that your submissions are not illegal, harmful, defamatory, false, or misleading.

3. USER REPRESENTATIONS

By using the Services, you represent and warrant that:

• You have the legal capacity to agree to and comply with these Legal Terms.
• You are not a minor, or if a minor, you have received parental permission to use the Services.
• You will not access the Services through automated or non-human means.
• You will not use the Services for any illegal or unauthorised purpose.
• All information you provide — including your name, contact details, delivery address, and arrival details — is true, accurate, and complete.
• You understand that Just Ask Jin acts as a human intermediary and concierge, and that the quality and availability of third-party services cannot be guaranteed by us.

4. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may not access or use the Services for any purpose other than that for which we make them available. You agree not to:

• Provide false, inaccurate, or misleading information when placing a service request or booking.
• Use the Services to obtain services for illegal or unauthorised purposes.
• Attempt to fraudulently obtain a refund or chargeback for services that have been properly delivered.
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate any employee or representative of Just Ask Jin.
• Use the Services in any way that violates applicable South Korean law or the laws of your country of residence.
• Systematically retrieve data or content from the Services to create a database or directory without our written permission.
• Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or any other material that interferes with the Services.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or adapt any software or code underlying the Services.
• Use the Services as part of any effort to compete with us or for any commercial purpose not expressly approved by us.
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security-related features of the Services.

5. USER GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS

The Services do not currently offer users the ability to submit or post public content. If this changes in the future, applicable contribution guidelines will be added to these Legal Terms.

6. CONTRIBUTION LICENCE

By submitting feedback, suggestions, or any other communications to us regarding the Services, you agree that we may use and share such feedback for any purpose without compensation to you. We will handle any personal data included in such communications in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7. THIRD-PARTY WEBSITES AND CONTENT

The Services may contain links to third-party websites or reference third-party services such as Baemin, Coupang Eats, PayPal, or event ticketing platforms. We do not control, investigate, or verify the accuracy, reliability, or policies of such third-party services and are not responsible for them.

When we place orders or make bookings on your behalf using third-party platforms, we act solely as your agent. We are not responsible for the actions, omissions, delays, or errors of those third-party services, including delivery delays, sold-out items, or event cancellations.

Any payments you make to third parties — such as ticket costs or restaurant order amounts — are governed by those third parties’ own terms and policies.

8. SERVICES MANAGEMENT

We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to:

• Monitor the Services for violations of these Legal Terms.
• Take appropriate action against anyone who violates these Legal Terms or applicable law.
• Refuse, restrict, or suspend access to the Services for any person at any time.
• Modify or discontinue any part of the Services at any time without notice.

9. PRIVACY POLICY

We care about your privacy. Please review our Privacy Policy at justaskjin.liveinkojpau.com/privacy-policy. By using the Services, you agree to be bound by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Legal Terms.

The Services are operated from South Korea. If you access the Services from another region, by continuing to use the Services you consent to your data being transferred to and processed in South Korea in accordance with applicable Korean data protection laws.

10. PAYMENTS, BOOKINGS, AND CANCELLATIONS

Payment. Payment for all services is required via PayPal unless otherwise agreed. For Soft Landing and Settle In services, Jin will confirm availability first and then send a PayPal invoice. Payment of that invoice constitutes confirmation of your booking. For VIP Booking services, the full ticket or reservation cost plus the applicable service fee must be paid upfront before any booking is made on your behalf.

Food Delivery Concierge. Payment is required at the time of order submission. The total price shown includes the estimated food budget and the service fee. Exact food items and restaurant selection are at Jin’s discretion based on your chosen category and budget.

Cancellations and refunds. Once an order has been placed on Baemin or Coupang Eats on your behalf, it cannot be cancelled. For Soft Landing and Settle In bookings, cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled service will receive a full refund. Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled service are non-refundable. For VIP Booking, ticket or reservation costs are non-refundable once a booking has been confirmed, as these costs are paid directly to the third-party provider.

Service fee. Our service fees are separate from the cost of any goods or tickets purchased on your behalf. Service fees are non-refundable once the service has been provided or a booking has been made.

11. SERVICE LIMITATIONS AND AVAILABILITY

Food Delivery Concierge is available daily from 5:30 PM to 10:30 PM KST. Pre-orders may be accepted during the day for delivery within service hours.

In-person services (including Soft Landing and in-person Settle In sessions) are available in Seoul and Gyeonggi-do only. In-person services are not available in Jeju, Busan, or other regions outside Gyeonggi-do.

Remote services (including remote Settle In consultations, document translation, and VIP Booking) are available to anyone located anywhere in South Korea.

We will always inform you if we are unable to fulfil a service request due to availability, location restrictions, or other factors before any payment is taken.

12. TERM AND TERMINATION

These Legal Terms remain in full force and effect while you use the Services. We reserve the right to deny access to any person at any time for any reason, including breach of these Legal Terms, without notice or liability.

13. MODIFICATIONS AND INTERRUPTIONS

We reserve the right to change, modify, or discontinue the Services or any part of them at any time without notice. We cannot guarantee that the Services will be available at all times. We will not be liable for any loss, damage, or inconvenience caused by your inability to access the Services during any downtime.

14. GOVERNING LAW

These Legal Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Korea. Just Ask Jin and you irrevocably consent that the courts of South Korea shall have exclusive jurisdiction to resolve any dispute arising in connection with these Legal Terms.

15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION

You agree to submit all disputes related to these Legal Terms or the legal relationship established by them to the jurisdiction of the courts of South Korea. We also maintain the right to bring proceedings in the courts of the country where you reside.

We encourage you to contact us first at jin@justaskjin.liveinkojpau.com before initiating any formal dispute. Most issues can be resolved quickly and informally.

16. DISCLAIMER

17. LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event will we or our directors, employees, or agents be liable to you or any third party for any direct, indirect, consequential, incidental, special, or punitive damages — including lost profit, loss of data, or other damages — arising from your use of the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

18. INDEMNIFICATION

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Just Ask Jin harmless from and against any loss, damage, liability, claim, or demand — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of:

• Your use of the Services.
• Your breach of these Legal Terms.
• Any breach of your representations and warranties set out in these Legal Terms.
• Your violation of the rights of a third party.
• Any false or misleading information you provided when placing a service request.

19. ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

By using the Services, contacting us via email or messaging apps, and submitting online forms, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. You agree that all agreements, notices, confirmations, and invoices we send you electronically satisfy any legal requirement that such communication be in writing.

20. MISCELLANEOUS

These Legal Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Services. Our failure to exercise or enforce any right or provision of these Legal Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

If any provision of these Legal Terms is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that provision is deemed severable and does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. There is no joint venture, partnership, employment, or agency relationship created between you and us as a result of these Legal Terms.
